The 43 Sundancer comes with twin Cummins MerCruiser QSB 425 diesels (425 hp – 313 kW) that are hooked up to Zeus drives ? cool pods that can give you up to 15% better fuel economy and 15% quicker top speeds than the usual inboards. With the Zeus setup, the 43 Sundancer offers a smoother ride since there’s way less gear noise and vibration. Above the waterline, the 43 Sundancer checks all the boxes for picky boat owners who want a top-notch express cruiser.
The captain gets to kick back in a spacious helm seat with a flip-up bolster and armrests. The seat slides and adjusts right in front of the gel-coated dash featuring the SmartCraft VesselView Display and MerCruiser digital throttle and shift. To the left, guests can relax on a roomy L-shaped bench. The fun continues in the cockpit, which has a U-shaped lounge next to a handy fiberglass table; the wet bar across from it has a solid-surface countertop, sink, and ice-maker.
Be aware that in the middle of 2009 Sea Ray rebranded this model the 470 Sundancer, which is she same layout & specs.
