Built with a GRP hull, deck and superstructure, this yacht has a fin keel with spade rudder. The cockpit seating and sole are finished with teak inlays.

 MECHANICAL

Powered by a Yanmar 57 hp diesel engine (4JH4E), with shaft drive and a three-blade fixed propeller. Engine hours are recorded at 2350.

PERFORMANCE
She cruises comfortably at around 5 knots.

TANKAGE
Fuel capacity is 136 litres, fresh water capacity 310 litres, and there is one holding tank.

ELECTRICAL
The yacht is equipped with a 12V DC domestic system. Batteries include three 100Ah units from 2023 and one 100Ah unit from 2024. Shore power is fitted with a Christec battery charger. Two solar panels of 80w and 100w are mounted on a stainless steel arch.

RIGGING
Configured as a sloop rig with aluminium mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging is fitted (age unknown). The mast is twin-spreader with swept spreaders. The mainsail is in-mast furling and the genoa is on a furling system.

SAILS
The mainsail and genoa are both original and remain in reasonable condition. A cruising chute from 2010 is in very good condition.

NAVIGATION
Navigation equipment includes a compass, Raymarine instruments covering speed/log, depth, wind, autopilot and chart plotter. Communication is via an Icom VHF radio. A barometer and clock are also fitted.

DECK
The deck layout features twin wheel steering and a large folding cockpit table. A walk-through transom with swim platform and ladder enhances access to the water. Ground tackle includes a 15kg Manson Supreme anchor on 60m of 10mm chain, plus a kedge anchor, all operated by an electric windlass. The yacht carries primary self-tailing winches as well as secondary winches. A sprayhood, bimini and cockpit dodgers provide shelter. SAFETY
Fitted with navigation lights, four fire extinguishers, manual and electric bilge pumps, and four life jackets. An emergency tiller is onboard along with emergency flares valid until 2025..

ACCOMMODATION

The Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40.3 features a bright, spacious interior with excellent headroom, finished in attractive wood joinery. The layout is practical for both family cruising and extended stays onboard.

LAYOUT
This is the two-cabin, one-heads version. The forward cabin offers a large double berth with ample storage. The saloon is arranged with U-shaped seating to port and a settee to starboard, which converts to a generous double berth. Bespoke monogrammed bedding is included for both cabins. The galley lies aft to starboard with double sink, oven, hob and refrigerator. To port is the navigation station. A large storage locker is accessed through the heads compartment.

DOMESTIC
Domestic systems include a gas cooker with oven and two burners, refrigerator, hot and cold pressurised water system, and a marine toilet with shower and washbasin. Ventilation is provided by multiple deck hatches and portlights.

CANVAS
Canvas inventory includes sprayhood, bimini, dodgers and custom cockpit cushions.

TENDER
The yacht is offered with a Zodiac tender and Suzuki 2.5 hp outboard from 2009.

MISCELLANEOUS
A stand-up paddleboard is included.
