The 3488 Command Bridge was the first boat built using Bayliner’s modular production system, a process of assembling prebuilt modules—separate engine room, forward stateroom, and salon modules, etc. This construction process reduced production costs and, according to the Bayliner, provided a more precise fit with improved structural integrity. Built on a solid fiberglass hull with modest deadrise and an integral swim platform, the 3488’s conservative styling and practical mid-cabin floorplan make for an altogether pleasant and practical family cruiser. Both staterooms are fitted with double berths. A spacious galley with tons of counter and storage space is to starboard in the salon. On deck, a flybridge overhang shades the small cockpit from the sun. Molded steps lead up to the flybridge, which is large for a 34-footer. Additional features include a stall shower in the head, a teak and holly galley sole, and a transom door. The 250 HP Cummins diesels cruise at 18 knots and reach a top speed of 22–23 knots.
The Bayliner 34 Motoryacht, with an extended hardtop and molded-in steps, features extraordinary liveaboard comfort. Two Air Conditioners (Bridge Included), New Hot Water Heater, Fully Loaded Galley with Teak/Holly Floors, Corian Countertops, Convection Oven, Cooktop Stove, Refrigerator and Refrigerator/Cooler, Two TVs, New Bimini Top, Custom Drapes, Custom Bedding, and MUCH MORE!
