The 493 is a phenomenal rough water boat that can be powered with either twin or triple Volvo D6 – 440 hp diesel engines, twin Volvo Penta D11 – 725 hp coupled to surface drives, or in the outboard version with twin Mercury V12 – 600 hp engines, triple or quad Mercury 500R, quad Mercury 400R or triple 600s.
